Inspired by the nature-oriented living, and Ayurveda, the sibling masterminds behind MOREGANICS® - Ms. Deepa Subramanian and Dr. Vishwanath N. Subramanian – set out on their life quest to uncover the rejuvenating power of pure, high-potent botanical extracts, and to research on the ancient, and scientifically proven farming methods of India, such as cow-centric farming, Rishi Krishi, Vedic Farming techniques, and Vrikshayurveda-based methods.
Combining these with global farming practices such as Miyawaki, Dhabolkar, Permaculture, Pranic, Biodiverse, Biodynamic etc., and enhancing them with nature-friendly technologies, the duo has developed an innovative method called More Than Organic™ farming. With this as the core, we created a first of its kind sustainable, naturally enriched, super healthy, agro-forestry farm where animals, birds, plants, and humans co-exist happily.

Nestled in the fabled Palakkad Gap, which was part of the Eastern coast of Madagascar till the tectonic plates decided to rip them apart eons ago, the Athachi Farms is blessed with nature’s bounties. A 41-km long, low mountain pass in the Western Ghats that funnels intense bursts of South-West Monsoon over Palakkad, this geological wonder has myriad brooks and rivulets, creating ‘organic dense’ alluvial soil ideal for agro-forestry. This ensures over 95% of ayurvedic herbs grow here naturally, and the bio-produce of Athachi Farms is rich with nutrients.
Being perched at the foothills of a range that is older than the Himalayas -the Western Ghats, helps the farm further. Identified by UNESCO as one of the eight ‘hottest biodiversity hotspots’ in the world, it is home to more than 700 different medicinal plants used for remedies and beauty formulations.
