From deep-rooted passion germinates a great idea
Being a gold medalist in Home Science, and a Master in Business Administration, Deepa possesses a profound understanding of the nutritional value of native food habits, organic produce free from adulteration and harmful chemicals, and the significance of traditional culinary techniques in promoting a healthy lifestyle. Realising the efficacy of traditional home remedies for skincare and haircare, she made a conscious choice to embark on extensive research into the ancient Indian wisdom of Ayurveda.
Deeply concerned that the younger generation misses out –on a balanced diet comprising fresh agricultural produce sourced from chemical-free farms, and a lifestyle intertwined with nature, combined with her quest for high-quality herbal ingredients for the skincare formulations she had envisioned, Deepa contemplated the establishment of a biodiverse farm.

Dr. Vishwanath, a physician with extensive experience in chest medicine, psychiatry, and emergency care, had earned accolades for his groundbreaking research on Women's Health and Lifestyle Disorders. A Master in Public Health who mentored students at the University of California, Berkeley, his contributions were recognized by the US Department of State with the title “Global Leader in Health,” while the city of Dallas bestowed upon him the Honorary Citizenship.
Embracing the adage, "prevention is better than cure," doctor chose public health over private practice, which gave him deeper insights into the widespread health challenges arising from stress, pollution, chemical contaminants in food, and unhealthy habits. Searching for "natural preventive solutions" instead of “prescribed medications,” he delved into the ancient Indian scriptures.

Deliberating on their ideas, the duo sowed the seeds for a sustainable biodiverse farm that would produce the rarest botanicals needed to create a bouquet of exquisite skin care formulations, combining the best of ancient Indian wisdom and the latest technologies. With passion they developed the farm near their ancestral roots - the Vedic village of Nurani. Nestled in the fabled Palakkad Gap, it is perched at the foot of the majestic Western Ghats - one of the world's eight biologically rich hotspots teeming with exotic flora and fauna.
Having always lived close to nature right from their childhood - from foothills of Nilgiris at the southern end of Western Ghats, to the peaks of Siliguri at northeastern edge of Himalayas, Deepa and doctor learnt to appreciate the diverse ecosystems, and understand their significance and value, for the entire world.
